Dental Care

It is all too common that the chronic pain, infection and reduced quality of life goes unrecognized. Oral disease can be recognized or prevented with regular dental examinations and proper home care. Routine cleanings are important to discovering hidden pathology and for keeping pets healthy and happy.
Microchipping
Permanent identification may be one of the best gifts you can ever give your pet. We strongly believe every pet should have a registered microchip just in case they are unexpectedly lost – we want them to have every opportunity to get back to their fur-ever home.
Vaccinations
Vaccinations against diseases are one of the cornerstones of preventative health care. Vaccines are one of the easiest ways to prevent common and debilitating infectious diseases in your pet.

Pain Management
A pet that is in pain can be miserable. At FMVC we are committed to identifying and relieving acute and chronic pain. We want to enhance the quality of our pet’s life through proactive identification of pain and believe pets deserve to live as good of a pain free existence as we can provide for them. Recognizing pain in our pets isn’t always easy. Dogs and cats often mask pain at home and during physical examination. A thorough history can be helpful because recognizing changes in behavior at home can actually be very helpful in identifying pain. Pain can manifest as decreased grooming (cats), exercise intolerance, changes in litterbox habits or even aggression. We offer several pain control modalities for cats and dogs. Geriatric Care

Just like tracking a patient’s weight, muscle mass and pain status, changes over time can be telling to a veterinarian. At Home Euthanasia
We will help with the peaceful passing of your pet when the time comes. Dr. Smith will help you evaluate your pet’s quality of life and if needed, facilitate a peaceful passage wherever your beloved pet feels most comfortable.
